Rhashmi Barber, LPCC is a passionate and dedicated individual who believes in the power of therapy to transform lives. With a background in psychology and a deep understanding of evidence-based modalities, she is committed to providing holistic and personalized treatment to their clients.

Rhashmi Barber, LPCC received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Spalding University and graduated with her master's in counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.

Throughout her career, Rhashmi has worked with individuals of all ages, from children to adults, helping them navigate through various mental health challenges. She has worked in the school system, providing counseling to children aged 5 to 17. She worked in a men’s detention facility, providing anger management and relationship enhancement skills and providing group and individual treatment to women and their families in shelters and transitional housing.

With a warm and empathetic nature, Rhashmi creates a safe space for clients to explore their concerns, uncover underlying issues, and develop effective coping strategies. She believes in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, compassion, and collaboration.

When not working with clients, Rhashmi enjoys reading books, doing arts and crafts, practicing mindfulness, and spending time outdoors. She believes self-care and self-love are fundamental for personal growth for herself as well as the people she treats.
